Heather Davey has an MA in Writing (with distinction) from Bath Spa University and is an alumna of the Curtis Brown Creative Finish Your Novel course. She is a librarian and a forthcoming judge for the Yoto Carnegie Medals in 2025 and 2026. She lives in Dorset with her husband and two children.
Heather has always been fascinated by ghost stories and was a key contributor in the recent BBC 2 series, Uncanny, with Danny Robins. Her debut novel, The Ghosts of Merry Hall, will be published in September 2025 as the first in a two-book deal.
