Maria Doulton is an author, journalist and presenter specialising in high-end jewellery and watches. Maria enjoys discovering new designers and is committed to helping emerging talent as well as giving coverage to ethical issues in the watch and jewellery industry. One of Maria’s favourite tasks is judging design competitions and graduate shows, where the expanse of creativity is a constant spur to her work.

Her journalism has appeared in The Financial Times, Telegraph Luxury, Vanity Fair, and The Economist, amongst others, and she has contributed to books published by Rizzoli, Phaidon and Hachette. Maria is co-founder and editor-in -chief of The Jewellery Editor, the largest and most reliable online source of information on contemporary jewellery.
