Jay d'Lacey’s life has always revolved around books and writing.

A voracious reader from an early age, she left school at 16 to work at Leicester University Library, and it was in Leicester that she met her husband-to-be, children’s author Chris d’Lacey. Together they created the best-selling children’s book series The Last Dragon Chronicles, for which Jay independently produced a guidebook called Rain & Fire.

Jay has also written articles and reviews for various New Age magazines. She is currently working on several projects of adult non-fiction, as well as continuing to work with Chris on new children's projects.
