Nicole Le Marie was born and raised in Fife, Scotland and now lives in Tottenham, London. She studied at University of St Andrews and University of Leeds and holds an NCE journalism qualification. She has worked as a print and broadcast journalist, and is currently Head of Digital Communications at the House of Commons.
Nicole’s writing has been published in Poetry Scotland, New Writing Scotland (Journal of the Association of Scottish Literature), Lallans (Scots Language Association Journal), Thi Wurd, Deus Ex Machina and Firewords, amongst others, and longlisted for the 2022 Bridport Prize’s Peggy Chapman-Andrews First Novel Award. She is a graduate of the Faber Academy Novel Writing course and is currently working on her first novel.
