Lynn Shepherd is an award-winning writer of ‘literary mysteries’ – one part literary fiction to one part historical crime. The Charles Maddox Mysteries, originally published in the 2010s, are being re-released by Hera Books in 2022. She turned Jane Austen into a murder mystery in The Mansfield Park Murder, and recalled to life Dickens’ London in the critically-acclaimed The Man in Black, explored the dark secrets of the Shelleys in The Frankenstein Monster, and has taken Dracula back to its literary roots in The London Vampire. All four novels received Kirkus stars on their original publication.
She worked in the City and PR before becoming a writer, and when working for Guinness in the 1990s created the Water of Life environmental and humanitarian initiative, which has brought clean water to millions of people. She is a fellow of the Wordsworth Trust and runs their Romanticism blog (@Wordsworthians). You can also find her at @Lynn_Shepherd
